hick01 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I was thinking about getting the trinity 2 into 1 carb kit what's everyones thoughts on this kit or should I just stick with the dual carb setup I'm looking for a little more bottom end will this help? Quote
crustydemon Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I would stick with the dual carb setup if I were you, I see no advantage to having a 2 into one other than ease of tuning and thats even a weak excuse. Some claim better low end torque and throttle response but although I dont have a dyno I have a very hard time believing its any better than a properly matched set of duals of the correct size, and you get to keep your top end. 06specialedition Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 x2. Stick with duels. Quote
Snopczynski Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 A single will get you a little more power right off the bottom, but it will cap the top end quite a bit. You wont notice the increase in low end power, but you will notice the increased acceleration speed. I used to run the 2 into 1, and I have quite a few bikes I built running it. However, I recommend dual carbs. My dyno test showed the dual carbs having 4.75hp more on the top end than the single. On the bottom, the difference was only 1.56hp with the single being the one that had more. Quote
