Rd1818 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 About a week ago during some normal trail riding and some hill climbs after being stuck behind someone in gear for about 5 minutes on hill finally got to the top of the hill and went down hill in neutral put in first gear to take off and wasn't going anywhere trans was going into gear but clutch got real loose and was not engaging so I ordered a new clutch and found that cable still has way to much free play unable to take out slack from cable and clutch not engaging any ideas to what it might be cause I stuck not sure if there is another adjustment or not and I forgot to menchin i also replaced cable week before do to clutch was lever felt hard at some points during riding problaly all related but not sure Quote
12 0 Clock P I M P Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Make sure the cable is run the proper way and that its held on its mount on top of the case net to the pusher....sounds like the cable is disengaging it but not allowing it to spring back........make sure your spring on your pusher is on to pull that cable back.....
