How can you tell which side is - and which is + I took it off to test it and can't remember which is which will it fry something if I hook it up wrong and try and turn it over ?

on the stock coils, i think there is an orange dot on the +

I believe if you look very close, there is a + and - by the terminals. The kicker is most Banshees came from the factory with the orange wire on the - terminal and some peolple on here say that they should be changed to orange on the +, and claim it will run better. I know it does make a difference on a car coil used with a distributor.

It’s a loop. Really doesn’t matter how the wires hook to the coil. The coil fires both plugs at the same time. One piston at the top the other at the bottom.

the stock one does have + and - on it, its the dyna coils that have an orange dot on +.

 

wire it correctly, a good habit to get into..

I'm not an electrical engineer , but if it didn't matter , WHY would they mark it ??
