LED light strips for taillight?

Has anyone had any luck with these? I know there are a few companies making them, along with some vendors from ebay. Im looking for an approximately 6-8 inch LED strip to mount onto the back plastics behind the seat on the flat area. Color options? Any input on products or ways to go about a DIY would be appreciated.

I cant think of a strip that will hold up well to water intrusion. There is some pod and full tail lights that will hold up.

These guys make some nice stuff. I have not had any problems with anything they claim to be water tight.

Scour eBay. There are tons of vendors on there selling waterproof strips at stupid low prices. They will wire right in to your stock tail light.

Just get one from ebay, mine was $3.29 shipped from hong kong, you cant go wrong.

 

The wires are tiny though
