Iam trying to remove my front sprocket and put a 13 tooth on it , The problem is i can not remove the large nut i bent back the lock washer i have the chain on and i have someone holding the rear break on still i can not loosen the dang thing .

Does anyone have a better idea ?

Could i use a pneumatic gun ? banghead

thats what i use a air gun. came right off.

I've always used a air impact gun.....runs it right off with no problem at all :headbang: .

 

 

Ok i will give it a try i just didn't know if i would damage anything on the inside using a impact gun .. thanx again :headbang:

while youre at it, i would trim the plastic "grill" section off the stator cover, in front of the sprocket/nut... follow the curve thats already there and just lop that crop off!

in the future you can change sprockets without having to removing the peg..stator cover, etc
