can anyone tell me the best oil and oil to fuel mix for a 01 banshee? been jetted, pipes, and dyno, but dont know all the specs off hand.

There is a 4 or 5 page topic already on this subject. If you would have done a search you would have seen that. Not being a dick just saying.

 

Anyhow I run both 32:1 and 42:1 Klotz super techniplate and Klotz Caster. The banshee does not have a power valve so anything with Caster in it is really going to prolong the engine life.

I am sorry for the dumb question. i am new to the site and looked in the forums instead of searching, my bad. i just wanted to double check with someone more knowledgable about this than myself.

i have been running bel-ray h1r @ 50:1, the manuel says yamalube @24:1, my local bike shop said amsoil hp injector was fine @ 50:1. so i got a little confused and dont want to fry any pistons

i was running bel-ray h1r @ 50:1, but i moved and the dealers around here only have amsoil hp injector oil. the guy i got the bike from said that the amsoil separates and i could fry the pistons. but that is what the local bike shop recommends. so got a little confused what to use.
