chetgoff Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I was looking at the clymers and on the shift shaft it says there is an oil seal. in the pic it looks like a washer . when I took mine off all there was was the spring and the plastic bushing. am i missing the seal or is in the the case on the other side im not to sure. also what is the easiest way to torque the ecentric screw nut. i still have the kicker gear installed and the drive gear above the ecentric screw. not sure exactly how to torque this.
