Gummie_guy Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 ur talkin about the little sleeve type cover that goes on the filter right? my banshee has one of those, i would assume it would let water in it if it were to get there, how else is air gonna get in? not sure about banshees but my gf has a 400ex with no lid on the airbox , kn filter and no cover thing and i took that thing through all sorts of mud, got it so muddy you couldnt tell it was yellow and it didnt seem to affect it at all. now if you were thinking about taking the airbox off and running filters i wouldnt go thru mud with that kind of setup.
