Hey guys just had my cylinders bored from the stock bore of 64mm to 64.25mm got the piston kit and rings put in the jugs r back on the head is on everything is hooked up i can start it with starting fluid right after that it dies, i was riding it when it was rebuilt last week and it was running crappy so i stopped driving tried to tune the carbs and cudnt even get it to idle after the starting fluid. i had my local motorsports place sync and clean the carbs and jets proffesionally, now when i go to kick it without giving it gas it just sounds like its kicking over and thats it no rumble from the engine or the exhaust popping, then when i give it gas it sounds like its flooding i dont get it, any suggestions would be helpful another thing the dealer told me was my exhaust boots are ripped and there is no backpreasure thats why they think it wont run and idle and stuff, but i just dont know if that makes sense maybe some of you guys can let me know thanks guys

Hey , welome to both of you !! Don't know if shop was to do more than clean and sync carbs , but not sure what exhaust "boots" you're refering to, a two stroke doesn't need bakpressure to run. It is for max power. If they THINK that's the problem , they have no clue. More info would be helpful in diagnosing problem. Jetting , TORS , air cleaner , what you have tried , etc. If the shop was supposed to make it run properly and didn't , thats a problem.

hey guys thanks for the replies well my buddy works at the shop so he took it in and did all that for free so im not upset they couldnt get it running just mad it wont fire up im only mad at it, all ive tried is starting fluid and playing around with carbs but am not getting anything does anyone know the way to tune your carbs? i have a twist screw on the side of each carb, and 2 white knobs ontop, i run a uni air filter that isnt on it at the moment because i took it out to just get easier access to the carbs which by right i shuould be able to atleast here it run like shit, with the filter out it should still fire right? and i run 93 gas in it with spectro 32:1 not sure if i did this right but for one of those quart size jugs i put in 4 gallons of gas any other ideas?

okay so it goes my carb, then like a black boxy figure then 2 white knobs and right infront of the white knobs was a black plug i took it off then unscrewed this bolt and a wire feeds into the black peice what is my problem with this fourwheeler i need help thanks
