Milled stock head question

I bought a box of parts a few weeks ago from a guy on craigs list. There is a stock head that he thinks was milled but wasn't sure. Is there any way to measure the head to see what is what? Just looks like a stock head to me. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

There will be a step on the head. Where the water inlet bolts on most people do not mill this area, just the surface that the head gasket touches. At least that is how mine is done.
