my banshees powerband wont kick in, it just flutters! need help!

hey, i have a 1996 yamaha banshee, and when i go full throttle, it just flutters and the powerband wont kick in, need some help please, because what is a banshee with out its powerband?

 

i dont know if this will help at all but, it has the following modification...

ported and polished jugs

advanced triming kit

2 into 1 trinity intake

american racing 2+2 A arms

dura blue axel

maxxis tires front +rear

1 1/4" handle bars

pro circuit pipes

high volume water pump

inline cooler

barrett heavy duty clutch

Vito's pistons

milled head

AC nerf bars

AC skid plate (front and rear)

PRM grab bar

Elka Front Shocks

Just happen outa the blue one fine day?

 

What carb are you running?

 

Also your main, pilot, needle, air screw set at and whats your clip position. (If you don't know, pull your bowl and carb cap off and have a look).

 

Whats your Elevation and outside temps?

 

You running i pod filter i suspect?

 

You have a for sure strong spark?

it was sorta out of the blue, once i oiled my air filter, k&n one with oil, it stopped working, so then i cleaned the oil off it and it dident kick in, and then i tryed running a drag twst with no filter and it dident kick in.--- also cleaned sparks like 3 times with the fluid stuff and i wiped with paper towel, i did not sand them

Do you think you over oiled it the first time around? Did you oil it again and try or was it just dry. I say check what your main jet is and try a new plug just for shits and grins.
