So I just went to my local pro go cart track to pick up some 100 oct leaded.. they were out,,,they had 97.. which really had a 93 rating,,,

a couple of the guys said its better to run higher than lower.. Is this gonna cause a problem... Ive ran 100 L in it for 3

years.. never a prob.. bought it used,, spoke with the owner briefly,, (broken english ) he said it always ran on 100.. he even put alky

in it before.... what am I getting myself into... ???? :shootself:

I just posted a thread like this not too long ago. The consensus was that unless you have high compression, U may actually lose power using 100LL/110 race gas. Personally, I'm going to get the compression up before I start running 100LL avgas. I'm sure it works with stock jugs/pistons/heads but most threads say its not worth it, u may lose power. Hope this helps bro!

I dont know... ive ran 93 in it and she was timid... put 100 l lean and she screamed... my boys at rhe track say the higher the better,,, well see... :shootself::shootself:

What kind of work do you have done to your quad?

thats the thing.. not really sure.. I know its got domes.. he said a balanced crank shaft,,, pistons... cool heads.....

I bought it through a cople differnt people..

I finally spoke with the owner and he said he did the engine right...

took it apart,, redid all the mods,,, even ran alky in it,,, said to run 100 in it,,, just spoke w my boy who is on team TONY KART .( pro kart team )

Not enuff info on the bike to get the correct answer.

Bullshit ,the worst thing that could happen is you fuck up your motor.

You need to give us your compression and elevation for starters.

the best i can do as... I used to bbuy 100 l all the time.. then the place i bought it from went out of buis,,,,

so i started getting 97 l,,, which has a rating of 93,,,, still ran ok... so started to feel like it was always bogging,,,, so just bought 110...

can this blow the engine,,, ??

ps.. ive had 3 years,, never re jetted,, or changed rings,,

runs like a mofo !!!
