dave5.0 Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 My buddy did this to his pit bike plastic. He used some kind of plastic prep stuff and implement paint. Looks pretty cool. I think I might have him do some stuff for my Banshee. Quote
xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Are the pics black & white or is that how it is? its different. if you do your Shee you gotta post pics. Quote
dave5.0 Posted February 20, 2010 Author Report Posted February 20, 2010 That's a color pic. He just mixed black and white. He thinks he can do any color. I would think you would want colors that would look good or mix together well. I've been thinking about it. I'm looking at getting a bunch of stuff coated. I'm trying to decide what I might want done with this versus coating. Quote
xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I think a Camo theme for whatever terrain you ride on would be kick ass. i`m not into that hippy shit but for someone that is i think a tie-died look would also be pretty bad ass. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I think it looks pretty kick ass! I though it was a black and white pic also. Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 very nice never seen anything like that before. Quote
dave5.0 Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 I was talking to him about doing it for other people, he was interested. I'm gonna wait and see how the fenders hold up and maybe go from there. He could do just about anything as long as it wasn't too big. Quote
bode1 Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 I like it. Does it have any shine? Is implement the brand name? Quote
dave5.0 Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 I like it. Does it have any shine? Is implement the brand name? It's shiny he put clear over it. Not sure how many coats are on these pieces though. Implement like tractor. I'm not sure what the difference is. I think the stuff he uses is oil base. That's all part of the process I think. Quote
wannashee20 Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 looks awsome, almost seems like a marble pattern. colors would be sweet! maybe white and well almost any neon colors like orange, pink, green. You will have to post some pics if/when you get it done! Quote
BigMatt Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) hey where did you buy those granite fenders LOL, looks sweet wonder how blue and white would look! Kinda like shee-ouflage Edited February 26, 2010 by BigMatt Quote
