SAVAGE420 Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 i have been having trouble starting my 2000 banshee that has p&p and t5s so i took a compression test and they both measured the same but at 100 psi that seems low to me? is it? and if it is what could be causing it? Thats getting sorta low. Did you check with 2 gauges back to back to make sure the one your using is spot on? The cyls could be outa round (egg shaped) now and the rings could be getting worn also. Check with another gauge to be sure. Hell when i was on my stock bore stock pistons few years back, i ran it all summer and she was tired and only kicked 87psi per side and still started 2-3 kicks and ripped really hard still. I say rip on it this summer until you want to go the next bore up with new pistons/rings and gaskets man. Very cheap and easy as hell to do. Quote
