randomrider Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 so i just had my 2000 banshee port and polished it has shaved heads t5s and k&n... it still has the stock swingarm and i was wondering if i will need to extend it? i ride the dunes most of the time mainly saint anthonys. and if i should what size? and also does A +2 actually do any good? Wildcardracing Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Depending on the porting you will probably benefit from a +2 or +4 on a good 350...but, you can probably get away with your stock swingarm just fine. My advice is to take it out and ride it, see how hard it is to dune on the stocker and go from there. -Brandon Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 i agree. you wont know until you ride it. generally for duning i would want a shorter swingarm so that my turning radius is smaller. i current run a +6 and can whip it around like a stock bike. if i was going to dune now, id probably run a +4.
