Now my question is.. the guy selling it says any type of octane can be used in it... would the timing being advanced so far need to have higher oct. fuel like 110

yea thats kinda what i thought wasnt 100% sure though.... i was thinking about gettin it intil i noticed it sayin that at the very end of his add.... says its all fresh build.. maybe if he hasnt done much to it i might check it out still..... i would be trading a raptor for this

i agree, do a comp. test i just bought a shee about a month ago, guy said its got brand new motor just broken in all worked up. says he ran pump gas, of course there was only enough in it to run for about 30 seconds i bought it and she blew up the next day think it was not high enough octane. got it apart the right piston detonated, it was bored 80 over and had 19cc domes pump gas fuckin wrecked it 700$$ in new parts and im ALMOST ready to ride again. ive been told to mix 93 octane and 110 octane to a 50/50 mix and should be ok, im goin straight 100 octane all the time now :headbang::cheers:

Yeah,thats the same thing i was told from the previous owner of my quad ,use only 110 octane with 36:1 . Make sure you use the right fuel or you will destroy the engine and then your looking at getting a whole new top end. It never happened to me but its scary thinking about it though
