WantABanshee Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 I've heard Banshee's are hard on chains and I'm getting ready to start mine up for the first time (been rebuilding it). The manual says if it exceeds 1.6in of slack to tighten but it doesn't specify where to measure from? Also I remember someone talking about the best case saver and can't remember the name of it. Thanks guys Quote

Thanks guys compress the rear suspension and you should have about an inch of play up and down from the center most part of the chain. That chain is going to stretch a lot your first few rides... Adjust it as needed Quote
WantABanshee Posted December 11, 2009 Author Report Posted December 11, 2009 center of the swingarm??? Quote
FrankieSquid Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 It's the center of the swing as others said. But you have to measure with load (your weight) on the bike to get proper slack. Quote
