papa_smurf49319 Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 you will be able to turn, just not near as well as if you had a stock length swingarm, what are you building this bke for. If its flat out drag racing, or duning you should be fine with a plus 8, but if you plan on doing alot of trail riding you may want to reconsider that! Cody Quote
sandman81 Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Any suspension change will change the handling of the bike, you just need to make sure what you want the bike for. On my 4mill i have a +5 swing arm and for trailing it's not bad just the tight corners make it hard to turn, compared to a stock swing arm, but for hillshooting or flats it just want to pull wheelies. I can't launch it cuz it comes up to high. I'm gonna go longer swing arm because i want to use it for flat drags and hillshooting, so no more trail riding. So think about what you want it for then go from there. Quote
