yamahaman244 Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 What? what u mean?? waht lol i dont know why it is smoking that is my qustioin i retorque and there is no leaks from the head of antifreze Quote
C&B Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 A ton of white smoke is anti freeze in the cyl. OR youre right side seal on the crank is bad. Take the head back off and re do it with a new gasket, see what happens, if it stil smokes, do a leakdown test. Quote
alf44 Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Well junior I think it could be a couple diierent things. Mabey a ring got bent or didnt seet properly when u broke it in. Mabey your just running it way too rich. The head gasket could be bad. Is it a stock head? take it have and have it shaved a bit too make sure its true. mine smokes more out of one side also. As long as it is running right dont sweat it. But these are the things I would check first. Quote

Larry's Shee Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Do leak down test first. Is coolant level low compared to when you first got it running? Is oil level still correct? Might look for air bubbles in oil and coolant while doing test. Unless coolant is leaking fast enough to drown plug it will vaporize from combustion.Should have done re-tourqe after heat cycles. 03bansheeman126 Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 punctuation and proper spelling might help out a little. everything kind of ran together in the post Quote

AKheathen Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 coolant burning will smoke, smell kind of sweet, and have some white and sometimes red on the plug. once the head gasket leaks @ the cylinder, it will never stay sealed. go buy a new one, they're cheap, and clean the mating surfaces good. retorqu after the first and third cycles, not when it starts to leak..........and follow the order Quote
