sandman81 Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Hey guys I'm going to change my gearing and was wondering what is a good brand and metarial, steel vs aluminium. Seen the JT Sprocket, 20 bucks for the rear and 13 bucks for the fronts on ebay, and I was wondering if they are any good. Is there anybody running them or what else is a good brand. Quote

sandman81 Posted August 14, 2009 Author Report Posted August 14, 2009 jt or sunstar are good quality value brand never use aluminium Where I race at I think I would just eat up the aluminium sprockets ive had good luck with oem sprockets, and jt sprockets.. Couldn't believe how affordable the Jt are, thought they might be a shitty quality. Thanks, got me feeling better about them. Quote
jbooker82 Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Jt front sprockets are ok. They are better than a 10 dollar brand X. I run a good 25-30 dollar renthal or tag front spocket. The front sprocket takes the most abuse, so I like to have a good one. Or you could go all out and get a 90+ dollar TI Moly Sidewinder front sprocket. Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 i run sprocket specialists on the front, because i run the big gears.. on the back i run primary drive from RMATV.. both hold up great on my 10mm cub motor. Quote
