Ok need all the help one can get. What is the best crank for the buck? (4mm) I was hung between weisco and hotrods. Was leaning towards hotrods because I was "told" it came trued and welded and wiesco's was not welded. Then I had saw a vito crank that uses standard pistons. That sounds good to me but......... You guys have the experience let me know.

Hot Rods Long Rod 4mill stroker crank is the only way to go. The longer conecting rod makes for less rod angle wich puts less side load on the piston skirts. The vito's crank that uses standard pistons has a sort or regular rod. I would go with a long rod for reliability reasons. Ethier way you have to run a spacer plate or stroker domes in a cool head.

Thanks thats the kinda info I was needing. I thought the ratio would be better on a long rod. I believe I will go with the hotrods crank. Thanls

Well I believe either way your going with a wiesco. I believe wiesco makes hotrods. I would deff get a long rod. Also have it welded and get the domes cut for the stroke. Your better off not running a spacer. Its one more place for an air leak. Also someone looking at your engine cant tell, so you can lie.
