I need some advice from the pros. I just got the my motor back together its just a 350 stock port, milled head 30, 40overbore, +4 timing, fmf fatties, toomy 2:1 air cleaner. Iam running stock carbs with a 27.5 pilot and a 320 main and my elev. is 600ft and running race gas just to be safe and I did a plug chop and I got 2mm ring but a light grey which tells me lean but do u guys think its the race gas not giving good color because before I rebuilt it this jetting showed a little fat do u think I should do it on pump gas or go up on the main? I only ran race gas at first because I didnt know what the comp. was going to be. THANKS

You cant read a plug if your using race gas. It has to be jetted by feel.

Thanks for the reply. I know all motors are diff. but do u think that jetting is in the ball park . It seems to pull good all the way no poping or bogging. THANKS

Sounds good to me. You can go up on the main, if it runs better, then go up again. If it doesn't, then go back down.
