I'm trying to find an EZ Purge Block, I've seen them before but can't find them anywhere. If someone has a different idea for purging please post pictures. I need a new way to purge instead of quick disconnects or pulling off the lines. Thanks

I like the quick disconnects. Very simple to use. Although pricy for what they are, they work great. Just make sure you get the ones that have shutoff valves on both sides, so when you disconnect they dont flow alky all over the place.

sorry about the crappy cell phone pic, but if you zoom in on my tank, you can see the aluminum block attached to the fuel lines on my tank. basically allows you to shut off the petcock, hook up your purge bottle and purge the bike. Nothing to disconnect

Yeah i've seen quick disconnects for 60 bucks a pair. So if you want one for each fuel line your gonna spend 120 just on disconnects which is ridiculous.

I had a hunch that's what melt was trying to explain. It's a simple idea the hardest part is trying to find it.

I usually just make a mess. Unhook the lines from the carbs, drain the alky back into the alky tank. Hook up the lines, put gas in the tank, purge it.

Wow, I need to come up with something a lil better lol....

I normally use one disconnect (Can get them in the pars unlimited catalog for like 20bucks..) Put the disconnect on the outside line. Shut the fuel valve off and disconnect the line.. then plug in the othe disconnect with a long drain tube.. Drain the tank... hook the line back up and put about .5 gallon of purge fuel in and run it out... done.. no mess.. Also.. I dont use disconnects with the shut offs.. I just hold a towel under it when I sperate the connect.

it looks like it would'nt be to hard to make just get a piece of aluminum probably 1"x1" by maybe 2" drill the center out on one side about 1 3/4" get some bungs to thread in and on the end put a valve to connect to the purge tank so when the purge tank is not hooked up you shut the valve from your pump or pingle then the fuel goes straight through the lines

yeah, you could easily make one that way. only thing nice about this one is that it is machined one piece so it is very compact and light.

Just another question....WHY DO YOU HAVE THE PARTS IN THE LIVING ROOM AND NOT ON THE BIKE?
