88SMILEY Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 I bought an old 87 and am piecing it together. It is a unit I bought it for $125. It needed a new tranny and frame. Anyways I bought a hot rods stock stroke crank. It was at 65.5 bore and needed to be bored to 66. I am going to advance it 4 degrees and bought a prodesign with 18's. It has v-force reeds and a 33mm trinity 2-1. I have a case of klotz benol, does anyone have any idea what main jet to start with and has anyone ran strait castor oil with any success? Also what octane should I run? I have some Klotz race fuel I can blend with 92 to make 110, is that too much? Quote
