ATVdragger Posted May 11, 2009 Author Report Posted May 11, 2009 Is this the same ass hole that got banned from atvdrag that thinks everything he says came straight out of the bible. But its proven time and time again how full of shit he is...... Thats right. I did get kicked off ziggy's site.. I guest you don't care about growing a sport that we all love.. Someone or a company helps better the sport. Than someone posts the info on the site for everyone to see. But then there's guys like some of you like bashing them on the site.. Has for someone not backing up there product.. Robinson backs up his tranny's 100%.. Robinson has been building tranny's for the fastest drag bikers around the world for 31 years.. Now he's helping the atv asphalt draggers go faster and have a tranny that out performs the stock tranny. Some of you guys need to stop bashing and crying... Do something to help grow the sport you love.. Quote
dajogejr Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 As far as being kicked off the site, yes.... And it sure wasn't because of your "love of the sport". It was because of your drama, whining and trying to get everything for free....sell things and not be a vendor of the site. So, if you trying to take advantage of us over there, then crying about it on Planet Asphalt, YOUR site, then so be it. So if it's ok for you to bash us and cry on your website, don't act like a little kid that had his ball taken away on our website. Ron, you already had zero credibility here....maybe it's time to go back to your own little world where people still think you know what you're talking about. Quote
rubberneck Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 Has for someone not backing up there product.. Robinson backs up his tranny's 100%.. So you are calling koolguyson a liar then? If he backs it 100% how come a new shaft was not issued, or at the very least offered for sale? Please explain. Quote
yfzdunejumper Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) Never use a 6 speed for 300ft sand or dirt drags. Ron why can't we run the billet 6 speed on 300ft sand or dirt drags? Edited May 11, 2009 by yfzdunejumper Quote

Please explain. Thanks. That guy is an Ahole, and he does NOT stand behind his product. For a little more information on the story. I even took Robinson's broken countershaft to a metallurgist (person who specifically studies material failures like steel) and he said the failure was due to an improper quench of the shaft when it was in heat treatment. Meaning when the shaft was brought to temperature during heat treatment, it was cooled too fast causing the material to become hard(er) and brittle. This is why everybody has a problem with you Ron. You aren't the bible and everything you say is not in fact the truth. Quote

Unless you like hiding behind the keyboard and talk trash all the time.. I was referring to Robinson racing. My last sentence was directed at you, but I am game. Come find me. Not sure how I have been hiding. I just drove 70 hours and 4000 miles to be at the biggest race of the year. Quote

I had the same exact problem with some $1200 billet fuel injector tips for my truck, supposed to be indestructible and lifetime guaranteed. Guess what, after the aplication of a little boost and heat i blew a nozzle apart. The answer i got from manufactur was that i ran them with too high of EGT. Funny, the aluminum piston it sits above didnt melt. After some calls and discussions about going public i did finally get some new injectors, but i wont run them again. Guess i could sell them, but thats not the point, if somebody says 100% guaranteed, they should without question fix it if they break, not weazel out of it or even try to. Quote
J-Madd Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Ron why can't we run the billet 6 speed on 300ft sand or dirt drags? Sure you can. I know someone who runs 4.0s all day long on a stock chassis 397 Cub with a 6 speed that he built himself. He doesn't sell them, though. He runs crazy gearing. Something like 13/47. Quote
