USE GOOD HOSE CLAMPS AS THE HOSE GETS SOFT WHEN HOT AND WILL BLOW OUT OF THE CLAP ON TRAIL!!! Quote
1996dragshee Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 I'm guessing so. That clear braided hose is what i use.It was the high heat stuff for washers and shit like that.Never had a problem with it yet.cut it long though and trim it down.that shit doesn't bend very well. You're gonna need to set it in hot water for a few minutes to get it soft and then quickly put it on. RagunCajun Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 They are rated to about 140-150F. It could burst after a while. I just went buy this yesterday and come to find out, tons of people told me to get rid of it. Imagine, riding your bike it burst and you burn your leg and crotch. Not a pretty sight! Quote
