It has a cool head cpi pipes boost bottle v force reeds..for sure.,...not sure if it has pistons or not...anyways runs and sounds good at an idle revs real clean and smooth at idle but just wont make any power. it wont get up in the pipe and run it just kinda cruises around..lol....it has 340 main and 25 pilots....stock carbs...and stock needles which dont appear to b adjustable...i have taken filter off ..no change....ive taken boost bottle off also..no change..tryin to make the dunes by the 24th so like to get rollin on it any help would be great thanks Quote
278 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 Do a plug chop to make sure your jetting is right, it sounds close but it may be off. Take the carbs apart and completely clean them, and make sure your parking break or any other breaks aren't sticking Quote
rmarsh18 Posted April 5, 2009 Author Report Posted April 5, 2009 it has a block off on brake....and it doesnt really sound like a limiter issue..after messing with it for awhile now im starting to think maybe something ignition...i have decent blue spark but maybe its weak off idle?...thanks....plugs are wet so maybe its not burning the fuel that its gettn Quote
rmarsh18 Posted April 5, 2009 Author Report Posted April 5, 2009 ill check the reeds right now......i should be able to get a reading between the cap and the coil right? if im suppose to be able to it reads nothing i figured i should be able to ohm it and get something but i dont....i pulled the plug wire and got 5.0 from end to cap ....but nothing through coil?.....but it idles and revs fine on idle ....i dunno still lost...ill check the reeds and check back in a few mins...thanks Quote
rmarsh18 Posted April 5, 2009 Author Report Posted April 5, 2009 reeds were good no cracks or breaks everything looked clean and good Quote
