Ok my buddy just bought an 01 banshee, we went and picked it up last night, well when I rode it I noticed that his clutch was so much easier to pull than mine, his blaster was the same. My blaster had a really stiff clutch and his newer blaster had a really easy clutch. How do I make mine like that?

The clutch pack itself wont affect the pull... Its going to be the clutch springs.. Ofcourse this is after you've lubed the cable.

Some aftermarket clutches come with stiffer springs.

thanks I will try a new clutch, but when I had my blaster I put a new clutch in it with light springs and a new lever and it was still a bitch to pull.

then its your cable. and its not jsut a lever its a whole perch. i have my banshee with 3 barnet HD springs and the VHD (haha) springs i dont know where they came from, they were in it, and it was a BITCH with my old perch, bought an easy pull and it feels stock. Also got a new clutch cable mine was streched.

Before you go out and buy new things. Clean the clutch cable very well then lube it very well. Use some sort of aerosol grease.

I personally dont care for easypull levers because due to how they work, they dont refully rrelease the clutch imo. There's several topics on this so i wont get into it. People would be amazed how a good clean and lubed cable is to pull.

I cant believe(well, yeah i can) people just jump to the go buy a new one conclusion to help this problem out. While you are at it, clean and lube your throttle cables.

I've never had an issue with a clutch not releasing fully with EZ Pull levers/perches.

Maybe if you only buy a lever, but I've always bought the perch and lever...never an issue.

I say buy a new clutch cable every other year. They're cheap....and if used a lot they tend to stretch out.

With an EZ Pull and new cable, your clutch will feel like a brand new 125 dirt bike clutch, one finger easy...Kinda Like Firehead.

He he he...
