TOo Fast Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Well I want to get this banshee : ( http://orlando.craigslist.org/mcy/1071950484.html ) but my dad thinks that since its had the carb. mod and the other stuff it'll break easier and faster. What should I tell him? And what does each mod do exactly anyways? (I dont think he knows and neither do I really...) Quote
sleeper06 Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Its nice because he says its a 4mil crank, but the motor is on its last bore if you break something you will need new cylinders. As for the carbs there way better than stock and have way less issues than stock carbs will need minimal maintnance.Me personally I would never give him 2500 for it tho, just out of principle, times are hard rite now try to get it for $2000,if not im sure you can find something nicer for 2500 in nicer condition Quote

Thanks for the reply. Whats a crank and what does it mean when its "bored"... ? Im sorry everybody must think im retarded. But thats what forums are for anyways, right? To help and discuss things with other people. Unless you find one of those "a$$h0l3" Forums... Quote
kodie Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 a crank is the thing that makes the pistons go up and down in the cylinder and boring it makes the diameter of the cylinder winder thus giving it more displacement like going from a 350 banshee to like a 370. like that guy says when u have to rebore it and eventually u will as like everyone else because the cylinders wear down after time you will have to resleave or buy new cylinders.
