What do you guys think would be the best reed setup for a stock motor with DMC 916 pipes, twin air filter, 280 jet needles and 25 pilots?

I mostly ride trail rides and some mx, but i plan on having a mid range port job.

Are they top end powered?

I would like to get some mid power out of my bike since the 916's are top end pipes.

they do have topend, but are softer for better bottom/mid. switching to midrange pipes as well will get you closer to what you want, though.

So no way i am geting a litle gain in the bottom/mid just to ease the kick on high rpms?

don't get me wrong, they will give more low-mid, and top, just not as much topend as something like a vf3. i'm just saying that pipes and porting are the biggest dictators of power range. some timing advance should help out in the low-mid, aswell. only like 30 bucks for the plate, too. consult your builder on it, too

Thank you very much for the info.
