Banshee Chad Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 K guys, i finally got some pipes. Got cpi inframe, other than that my motor is stock, besides the snorkle being removed. Im at 5k feet for elevation. with the stock pipes im running 190 mains, what suggestions you guys got for the cpi's on mains, needle, etc. So far ive been told between 280-260, and maybe a clip change on the needle. just wanting to see if you guys would agree? right now they are bare, going to paint them black and trim the fenders just enough to clear them, within the next couple weeks. I'd start at 290's and work your way down, we're running 310-320 in ported motors with pods. Move your needles toward the blunt end one clip position.
