elwilliams13 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 What elevation and temperature do you normally ride in? are these K&N pods? oil is mixed generally from 32:1 to 50:1 depending on type of fuel used and type of riding you do. If you are running close to sea level and warm temps you will need from 280 to 310 mains and do a series of plug checks make sure your good. reply to those questions and you'll get a better answer. If you are running close to sea level and warm temps you will need from 280 to 310 mains and do a series of plug checks make sure your good. reply to those questions and you'll get a better answer. i ride in central new york, they arnt true k&n filters but same style and i always run 93 octane fuel. i ride the track and trails. ive been runing 32 ounces of amsoil per a five gallon jug (what i was told to run from the guy i bought my bashee from) witch is richer than 32:1 so i was wondering if he ran it richer without jetting it to compisate for the pipes. is that possible? blaster2006 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 if you dont mind changing the mains a couple of times.. start with 320.. and move down.. if you mind.. i would guess about 290-300 would be perfect if the filters you have are pods. Quote
