SickShee Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Hey guys, I'm new here. I was just wondering, what is meant by "Cheetah Cub" Banshee? Is it a special edition Banshee, or is it just a Banshee equipped with the Cheetah Cub head? Sorry for the noob question...after all, I am a noob. Thanks! Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 cheetah cub refers to an aftermarket cylinder that you can buy for your banshee. they replace the stock cylinders and make a lot more power. Quote

Okay, thanks. That's what I thought. I just have a few questions: 1) What sizes do these cylinders come in? 2) Does it come with everything needed to bolt it up and use it, or do I need to buy other stuff? 3) Are they worth it? Thanks! Thanks! the most common sizes of these cylinders are stock stroke, 4mm and 10mm. they come in 65mm or 68mm bore. most likely you would purchase from a builder who would tell you everything you need. all stock parts fit the cub cylinders, however, for maximum performance gains bigger carbs, an aftermarket head, intakes and reeds are recommended. depends on what kind of riding you do. cubs are mainly a drag only cylinder. they have a light switch powerband that comes on about 6,000 rpm. they are not good for lugging through the trails or play riding. some people dune with them and love it. i personally use my 10mm cub bike for hillclimbing and drag only. okbeast Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 An MX/play port, maybe a single 35pwk carb, raise the compression and timing. Quote
