Woolfman Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Question for you guys, I stood my banshee up on its ass end to clean underneath. Is it normal for the gear oil to leak out of banshees when you do that? I'm guessing it's coming out of a vent. Quote
Fireroad Express Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 hey , welcome to the BHQ!!! and yes there is a vent at the back of the engine case.probably the source of your leak. Quote

locogato11283 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Thanks man. So are just not supposed to stand them up on there ass end then? you can, but youre gonna get that shit leaking out of there. its not gonna hurt anything unless you lose a ton of oil. Quote
Woolfman Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Thanks guys now I'm not worried that something is jacked up. I was hoping I could then we can fit more wheelers in the toyhauler oh well Quote
jbooker82 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 There should be a hose that goes on the vent. The hose should be routed up twards the front end. That way when you stand it up oil wont run out. josh Quote

It should come to a T where the back vent and the vent under the water pump cover come together and then go up twards the steering stem under the fuel tank Quote
