Corndiddly5885 Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Wat is the best way to get the bearings out of the hubs Quote
2001Stroker Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 A hammer and a punch. Just work it around until it comes out. Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 put the hubs on something solid when youre driving the bearings out and they will come out a lot easier. Quote
Corndiddly5885 Posted February 2, 2009 Author Report Posted February 2, 2009 thats wat i have been doing but the bearings are horrible and somewhat rusted in. i put nut and bolt loosener on it and that didnt work. i pounded on it with a punch and hammer for around half an hour and it didnt move one bit Quote
2001Stroker Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Time to break out the acetylene. Or, you could cut out the inner race with a sawzall, and then carefully cut the inner race. If you nick the hub, it ain't that big of a deal. Just try not to, so dirt can't get past the seal, and in the bearings down the road. Quote
NYUK Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 35 shipped for front hubs with good bearings. pm me. Quote
BlasterKX Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 you can try using a propane torch and heat the hub up a lil bit and that would axpand it and then pound on the bearings see if that works. Quote
