sheething1127 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 ok so i have toomy t5s on the shee right now. also k&n filters on each carb. the guy i bout it from has me runing a quart of oil for a 5 gal can of gas. it runs to rich. does it need to be re jetted?and the mixture droped if it needs to be rejetted what kit to go with? blaster2006 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 (edited) ok so i have toomy t5s on the shee right now. also k&n filters on each carb. the guy i bout it from has me runing a quart of oil for a 5 gal can of gas. it runs to rich. does it need to be re jetted?and the mixture droped if it needs to be rejetted what kit to go with? 5 gallons of gas = 18.92 litres. 1 quart of oil = 0.946 litres. your mixing at exactly 20:1, that mixture is good for the quad to last longer, but abit lean as for the mixture, but i guess he just jetted it higher to compensate. thats the same ratio the guy who sold me his banshee was using, i straight away bumped up to 32:1 using yamalube 2R.
