BlasterKX Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 sorry if this a repeat but i couldnt find anything. ok when i was doing my tors removing etc i checked the needles. well theres 6 clips in there and one side was 3 from the top the other side was 4 from the top. so at first i went 4 down and ran it seemed to be alittle to rich(bogging out) so i moved them to the 3rd notch from the top. i also noticed that stocks have 5? you think these needles are from the kit that came with the t6s? with a 300 main and 27.5 pilot at 530 above sea level think i should go with the 3rd from the top? Thanks for any advice.lol Quote
J.J. Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Experiment with the needle clip positions and see what works. It is an after-market needle. The clip position will effect the jetting at 1/4 to 3/4 throttle position. BenBB's Jetting FAQ Question 11 Quote
Snopczynski Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 its probably a toomey needle. Quote
BlasterKX Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 most likly. the thing that sux so bad is i cant really get my jetting dialed in right now cuz its cold out and i never ride in the cold. just the spring summer and some of fall. so changing the jetting to work for the winter would be kinda dumb cuz i dont ride it. dman it come on warm weather where are you???!!!! lol Quote
