it is possible to get any size piston, but if you dont have the money to bore it, you surley dont have the money to have a piston made to you specs. Take the motor to a builder and he can messure the bore in several differant places to see what piston size you need for sure. You dont only want the messurement of the lip of the cylinder

well would a 65.50 work?

if your pistons say 65.92, you definately dont wanna go down to a 65.50. like Bansh-eman said, the next size is 66mm which is .80 over. get a micrometer and check the diameter of the cylinders (or get a machine shop to), get some pistons, give them to the shop and have them bore the jugs to match the pistons.

boring usually costs between 50 and 75 bucks. pistons are between 150 and 200. oddball pistons would probably be more rare and more expensive. so in the end, itll probably cost the same either way. i would bore it and go with the .80 over pistons because then you have a fresh top end.

where is this at?

vitos is like 60 a cylinder

you talkin about the cost of boring? just get them done at a local machine shop. i got mine done for $30 a jug. of course prices are different for different places but get it done locally so that you dont have to pay shipping.

i wouldnt send a wet dog turd to Vito's, and the same thing with Duncan.

You can surely find a shop locally that can do it. or send it to one of the reputable builders on this site.

i dont have any money, i guess i gotta go find another weird sized piston

Not sure where Hurley is at but most shops in the KC area charge about $40 to $50 a hole for boring. If you don't have the money to do it right I would wait until I did. It will likely cost you more in the long run if you try to get it done cheaply or half assed. And custom pistons are not going to be cheap!
