4milstrkr Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 i have a 96 banshee it has a 4 mill stroker bored .40 over cylinders have been cleaned up mith a die grinder coolhead 21cc domes procircuit exhaust jet kit and k&n airfilter tors are removed. ever since i put the exhaust on it runs horrible on bottom but srceams when its in the band and only the right side pipe get hot when it idles, it also hardly ever starts and usually needs a pull i have been threw the carbs many times making sure a jet isnt plugged and havent found one, and help would be nice Quote

What pipes were you running before you but the new ones on? Quote
4milstrkr Posted December 16, 2008 Author Report Posted December 16, 2008 stock pipes and yes i did rejet but i put the stock pilots back in because it would run even worse but carbs are syncronized and the reeds looked fine when i rebuilt the motor this summer and it doesnt have an air leak anywhere ive already sprayed it down Quote

If you are running stock pipes with a 4 mill you are costing yourself a ton of power. What carbs do you have and what jets are you running in them? Also what elivation are you riding at? Quote

4milstrkr Posted December 17, 2008 Author Report Posted December 17, 2008 310 mains stock needles and pilots took stock pilots and needles out to see if would make it run better and it didnt i just rode it lastnight and the left side pipe only fires every now and then until u go above 1/4 throttle and my elevation is 600ft stock carbs Quote
