Keihin 33 full throttle position

With my Keihin 33

Stick your finger in the back of the carb, see if you can push the slide up any further...if you can't, it's WOT.

Looks like that should go up a bit more..

Like Dajog said, and you may need some taller adjusters.

I would also recommend you check your boost bottle for leaks/air leaks.

It is also possible if that cable is old that it's strectched out a bit...as well.

Also, get rid of the stop on the thumb throttle if you haven't already.

I think fast sells a kit for that problem taller adjusters and springs something to that effect. I have read about it before that the regular adjusters aren`t tall enough

yep i tried and tried and i cant get em to go any higher with the stock (keihin) adjusters. the cable is a new motion pro. looks like ill have to find or make some taller ones.

 

yeah the pro design intakes arent worth a shit.. it has leaked on me before thats why it is siliconed up to the max in that pic...

 

i have a boss intake on my other engine and it is the bomb. i am fixin to get one to replace this busted ass pro design.

I have a set of the PWK33's and the slide goes ALL the way up out of view!!

In fact, that is how I sync my carbs...

All the way open at the lip is a point I can repeat on both carbs for perfect balance. :thumbsup:

 

I'm sure no one will disagree with me on the sync thing........uh~huh.
