OKCterror Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Ive had my carbs cleaned, sinked, adjusted, rejetted, and had all new internals put in and i still have a leak after the temp gets up. My problem is i adjusted the two little adjusters on the side of the carbs and it sorta went away for a bit but gave alittle lag at times then adjusted again and got it perfect with just alittle leak at times then bigger at others. What can i do to adjust it more. im a newb when it comes to carbs and am pretty afraid of them to be honest. The shop i go to is giving me the run around and i think there trying to get me to upgrade to bigger carbs. Ive got stockers on there with bigger jets for drag pipes and open air box. My mods are listed below and any help would be apreciated. PS: Wheres a spot to get bigger cheaper carbs? Quote
01banch Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Is it a Air leak or a fuel leak? If it is a air leak look at the air boots and near the crossover tube and make sure they are in good shape, that would make some sense to me if you are tuning it to get it to run right it night be leaning you out, hence youn adjusting it to run fatter but casuing ti to run bad? I hope im making sense... Quote
