i have one of those outerwear lid covers that i never used, ended up ditching the entire box itself. a few riding buddies have them and like them alot, only complaint is the velcrow that holds it on tends to come off due to the heat from the exhaust.

key word sredish mentioned up there "open lid" depending on what you have as a air intake will make a huge difference in the jetting on the single carb. are you running a lid, an open k&n, the air box adapter with no lid, with lid but the 6 vent holes cut in it ? list the mods and the air box style and we can help out alot more. later

you can pressure wash the nets and also throw them in the washer and the color wont bleed that bad. i died a set of yellow ones to black about a year ago and they are just now starting to fade a bit, but another quick dip in the dye will fix that.

im pulling a set off a shee tonight and putting on a single carb set up on it. make me an offer on the stock carbs, with the tors removed and the cable for it and ill run it by the owner of all the stuff
