  1. Was really hot 100 degrees …was racing a bunch of buddies on bikes …1 hour long rush …lost my rear brakes down the hill total loss ….fluid boiled over …after bike cooled brakes work great ….is this normal in extreme conditions :::wife usually rides this banshee…doesn’t push it like me …but don’t won’t her to loss brakes…there still a few more rides on the pads but low

  2. Thanks again for the responses guys. I am going to dive in this weekend. The bars are straight when the bike is sitting. I undid and checked for tightness and straightness. But soon as you start driving the handlebars are misaligned. And there’s a little play in the stem 2 where there wasn’t a couple weeks ago before my jump-athon. I’ll keep you guys posted now I know where to look thanks again

  3. Hello. haven’t been in any recent crashes. But I’ve had plenty of close calls ....and a few nose dives way to hard .....lately ......(this atv was hit hard by you Utv a year ago ). The handlebars are aligned and correct when stopped ... but when there driving they are too the right. The stem seems a little loose and the front end seems like it’s getting sloppy.    ..... I just checked the bars are straight and tight when stopped .... what could be the problem ? I have no clue where to start .... maybe bent the steering stem? From a Utv  crash and I’m just noticing now? Because my buddy pointed it out ......but I have noticed stem was lose before hand ....thanks

  4. Hello I recently got my banshee running after a crash with a Utv (Utv won ) it’s awesome I love it. And it seems like everything is running great.engine and structural. A member here sold me a frame that I had to take pieces off to weld and fix..thanks

1)I I’m trying to raise the rear brake foot pedal .... you really have to press down to get the rear brakes to engage. Worries me because my wife drives the banshee a lot

2)brakes have a new pads and have been serviced and stopp great.(you just really have to press down to get them to engage) I asked the shop six months back if there is any way to raise it. And they said that’s just how it is. Geometry of bike.

3)also if anyone comes of cross any uncut OEM blue front fenders I would like to buy thanks

  5. Worst Crash I’ve been in. I’m thankful I’m OK I have a sprained wrist and my knee hurts. I was riding today with my brother-in-law. And I was going up a fire Road about 20 mph ...When I reached close to the top a four seater Utv... Flew over the other side at excessive speeds. catching air ...He landed and we both hit the brakes at the same time it was too late head on collision. I flew about 6 feet in the air Straight up landed on my knees and got right up. He came out he was a 16-year-old kid barely getting his mustache hair(I didn’t no who to blame )  ...The banshee started and I rode it back to camp. I didn’t know whose fault it was and I’ve never been in that situation before. My front bumper is completely crushed and so are the front mounting bolts(a striped number screw). What do you guys recommend ...find a welder. I’m willing to pay a good amount to ...Or do I look for a frame and take the pieces I need off that are bent or try to replace that front assembly. I’m having a hard time uploading pictures can someone give me some advice I’ve tried downsizing  can I text them to someone

No More riding on roads Frequently travel to by Utv s ... If anyone knows any welders in our area that would be cool too. The front light is also bent

Hello BHQ, I’m looking for a few thoughts on what to do. I’m originally from Southern New Jersey and 2 years ago moved to Southern California for a great career opportunity, wonderful weather ( I don’t miss the cold and snow) and a change in atmosphere. The thing is that at the time when I moved I didn’t have the space to bring my Banshee along and now I’m wondering if I should sell it back home and buy another one here in California or should I create it up and pay to ship it to Southern California? The Banshee I have right now is a 2004 special edition that is completely stock other than the Pro Design K&N pro flow filter and I changed the carbs from stock to keihin 28 pwks because when I received the Banshee from the previous owner he stored it in the basement of his house. When he stored he didn’t flush the carbs before letting it sit which made the carbs get all screwed up and they got so gummed up and they were virtually impossible to get them totally cleaned up and working properly so I figured it was easier to just change them. So,I’m going to be going back home in a few weeks to see the family and So I figure the next few days I’m going to be calling a few freight companies to get a quote on what it’s going to cost to ship the Banshee. Any advice would be appreciated and very helpful.

    Thanks.

I’m from so cal ...sell it and buy one here so you can ride green sticker it’s worth it ...you have to be 02 and under ...04 would be red sticker and you can only ride it  a select few months a year. Some of the best ohv parks here you need spark arrestor‘s and green sticker To entry ... I had to pay 180 just for spark arrestor’s for the T5s

  8. Hello just found out my brother-in-law is coming along for our trip and he has a YZ 250. I’ve raced him several times in my modded DRZ 400e ....I take him every time after 60 miles an hour...I know we’re going to race with the banshee this Saturday. Will I lose that badly or will it be pretty close. He’s all stock I have t5s k&n ...just wondering

I’m pretty good at Hooking this thing ..so traction won’t be a problem

    Stock swingarm on banshee?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I believe it’s stock swing arm ...ya we trail ride the warrior ...but where our un loading area is there’s a track ...so I’ve been jumping the warrior for years so I’m pretty skilled at hucking that thing .......my current banshee looks 100 percent stock with orginal un trimmed plastics and tires ...got it from a 67 year old ....it looks bran new .. I think  the exhaust and shocks are the only mods ....I was just kinda shocked how much I have to pull up on the handlebars to not noise dive on landing ...compared to the warrior I just gas it and lean back and that things straight as a arrow land perfect everytime the banshee is way diff ...More un ruly

  10. .... Recently a Acquired the demon viper known as the banshee.... After taking it to the track I’ve noticed that the front end is pretty heavy. And it’s more difficult to jump and then my wife’s Yamaha warrior... It wants to go everywhere when I jump it .... I got the hang of it towards the end of the day ,but I really have to gas it and pull up on the front end when I hit the lip of the jump..standing up low ..towards back of seat .... Do you guys have any tips ...help .... Jumping this monster of a  quad again this Saturday

I mainly do trail riding in my area. It’s basically sand with some hard pack dirt. I use Kenda Klaws XC on the front and rear. The rear tires can be flipped around for either soft terrain or hard terrain. Try looking on eBay or also try Motosport.com or Rockymountainatvmc.com

Thanks I ride the same terrain in so cal Sand hard pack ...I’ll check those out ...my shop quoted me like 400 + seemed $$ is that the normal price?
