  1. So kan is no good? He's the only one that's replied Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  2. Been talking with Kan on the fb group. I've reset pick up gap, cleaned grounds, regapped plugs at .024, cleaned pickups and found the green coil wire was rubbing the flywheel, so I fixed that and I'm trying again Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  3. I have read on here dozens of times that less than 1psi per minute is acceptable Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  4. All grounds are good to go and tors was deleted in the past and bile ran fine without it Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  5. Sounds like the pushrod is welded to the actuator arm Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  6. You could get an aftermarket radiator or a billet impeller. I just swapped my stock impeller out for a tm design works unit Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  7. Now I'm getting some better feedback. I did grab 4 generic Ngk b8es plugs for chopping once I'm ready. I just personally prefer Iridium plugs in everything I own. I just wrapped up the timing plate set at +4, I'll try to get some jets tomorrow at one of the shops in town Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  8. The stock air box was broken so I pulled it out. Have 2 k&n ru-0210. I think that's the number. Just straight elements Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  9. This plate is machined, as I don't believe a lot in cast parts from other things I work on. Fuel tank and carbs were empty when I got it and fuel flows clean from the tank so I assume that's all okay. Brakes work great. Haven't checked bearings yet. I guess the current setup will be Stock internals Stock carbs Fmf sst stingers with power core 2 silencers +4(?) timing advance Ngk Iridium plugs Individual filters 32:1 with 93 octane and yamalube 2r Boyesen 2 stage reeds Reed spacers So based on that should I start with a 260? 270? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  10. It's just their timing plate. Not replacing the stator itself. I had read a ton on 450 shocks but nobody mentioned blaster shocks. I have a guy that can revalve them for me Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  11. So what would be the best starting point for me to work from on the pilots and mains until I can A. Plug chop or B. Dyno it Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  12. I was hesitant to even join a forum for this reason. I came for help. Not smart ass remarks man. I'm starting from 0 and thought I was doing right. If that's not the case, guide me vs just telling me it's shit Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  13. I'm in Fredericksburg Va Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  14. I think it's a 270, 290 & 340 main in that kit with a new needle Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  15. Timing advance and larger jets do nothing? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  16. Any particular reason? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  17. Oh and a RMstator timing advance plate! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  18. I've been a banshee fan for a long time, been reading about them since about 2002 in dirt wheels magazine and 3 weeks ago I found an almost stock 98 shee for a great price. So after doing some fixing and research the bug to mod it got to me. So far it has: DG slip ons (previous owner) Boyesen 2 stage reeds Reed spacers Complete fluid change Ngk Iridium plugs Individual k&n filters Itp holeshots on the back Modquad kick starter And waiting at home to be installed are a full set of fmf sst pipes Tusk clutch Dynojet stage 3 kit Carb rebuild kits Prefilters All new fuel and vent lines New sprockets and chain Parking brake block off Used steering stem (has a bent one) Ac racing bumper and led pods Misc gaskets New clutch cable Complete tors eliminator kit HI flow impeller and billet coolant cover with drain Coolant overflow bracket Lowering kit Yfz450 shocks (lowering kit takes it too far. Hoping to end up roughly 2" lower in the front) I think I got most of the maintenance BS stuff it needed after sitting for 2 years. The only thing I'm unsure of are like the head gasket and ball joints. I greased everything before I rode it for the first time. Is there anything I'm missing? As it is the bike runs great. It was so worth waiting for. I can't wait to get this batch of parts on and get out again. Most likely headed to Busco beach for July 4th weekend Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
