What exactly is the difference between big bore cylinders and putting a big bore sleeve in? I have no idea. I read that there can be breathing problems with the sleeved.
I need new cylinders before i get them ported so im either going to get stock or big bore since i found a used set for 350.

First time taking my head off and i was wondering what size my pistons are. The cylinders read 64.7mm but the pistons have a 100 stamped on it

Thanks trickedcarbine, threw a 290 in there. I'll plug chop it again tmrw probably.
I'm using ngk b8es. That's pretty much the same procedure I do, but you worded it better

I'm at 4000 feet, compression was like 150 last time I checked if I remember right. Mains are 270 and pilots are 27.5.

Everyone says to ride to a long straight away put new plugs then ride through all the gears then turn it off and take the plugs out and then you chop em. Idk much about the process honestly, that's why I came here.

I could use some help reading this plug.to me it looks like my pilot jet is good but the main might be a little lean. Wondering what that white stuff is on the tip of the plug

It had half a tank or more of mixed gas. I use amsoil dominator 32:1 anyways suppose to be like 40:1 so the gallon or 2 of unmixed just made it run rich.

Think you're right about the jets. It uses 310s perfectly in the desert at sea level so I put 270s for 4000 feet where I live. It's 30 degrees at night and 80 in the day rt now and I ride all day long so jettings kind of a pain.
It only seems to act up in 4th. But it's definitely a bogging sound not a lean sound.
I'll ride it today and see what it does. Couldn't open it up last night after I synced the carbs, too dark on the trails.

Weathers gotten warmer and yesterday while riding I noticed a dead spot in 4th gear at WOT. It'll go from the normal high pitched to a bogging brrrrrrrr sound. Which is weird to me because I'd be expecting a lean sound. Never noticed it over the winter.
Same jets though. And I resynced my carbs because they were a little off. Maybe my main jets are too big or too small?

To reword that, the 30s work at sea lvl and I'm at 4000 so I should need a smaller one. But I've used the 30s up here and had no problems. But I know it could rob power if it's too big
Only reason I don't think it's the needle is because it was only one above the bottom position. I always check the slide and cable cuz I've had that too lol. I wanna say I need the 30 pilots but they worked fine 4000 feet lower than where I am just last weekend so I SHOULD be good with the 27.5s.. just kinda weird
At idle with the 27.5s when I snap the throttle at all, the rpms stay high. No air leaks. I know it's bored, idk how much it's bored over or how much it would affect it.
