  2. Still has good throttle response? I want the front to get light. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. Building a 421 dune/play ported serval with FAST racing. I ride a lot of trails and like that bottom end power. Im wondering how much difference there is between 33 and 35 pwks. Jeff says they always run 35s but ive heard 33s might be more what i want. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  4. Looks sick dude. Jealous. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. Whatever dude. I didnt have 4 grand laying around when my motor fucked up and i decided to upgrade. Threw it on my credit card. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  6. Ill be down once i pay off my serval motor build... Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. Hahaha Ya i dont know what to believe. I trust you guys. Honestly ill have to wait on it. They said itll work with the heavy springs so when i get money ill put one on. Since its so easy to do yourself. They also said 35 pwks which im pretty sure has less throttle response. So ill look for 33s. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  8. Think like 33 or 35s? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  9. 421 serval dune ported with 22cc domes and coolhead to run 91 at 4000 feet. Vforce 4sChariot ultra water pump Stock carbs right now Airbox no lid Pro circuit pipes for now Promod transmission, ez shift mod, modded star and modded shift arm Billet basket and FAST clutch with heavy springs. Probably wont do a lockup until i pay this off. As long as it holds up. Might need carbs. For trail riding what size carbs do you think id need to not lose throttle response? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  10. Perfect thanks. Ill wait on that. Probably put the money into carbs instead. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  11. Im getting the promod done and all the shifter mods but they said for the lockup id need an override tranny. But since its not a drag bike they dont recommend it. Theyre also recommending the straight cut gears. Not sure what the benefit of those are Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  12. I obviously dont want to stay stock im just trying not to bankrupt myself on this build haha ill be spending like 15% my annual wage. If the carbs and pipes are okay for now ill wait a bit Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. So my motors at FAST right now getting started. Couple things i need advice on. 1. They dont recommend a lockup for trails because they said it can keep me from shifting. They said itd be fine with a heavy clutch springs for now. I might wait till i have money to do a lockup if its a good idea. 2. Theyre not sure if i should get the dune port right now since i have stock carbs, and pro circuit pipes. i heard itd be okay with that but if i need to upgrade ill try to squeeze it in. They recommend pods too which i want anyways so ill be looking. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  14. True. But ive been on some pretty tricky hills that required some clutch work. Ill have a lot more bottom end with the 421 though so it might not be much of an issue. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. Thats exactly what i ride too 99% of the time. all trails since i live in east county san diego. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. Ohhhh ok i see. Nice post. So Just letting off the throttle for a sec is enough to ease up the pressure and shift? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  17. Makes sense. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  18. So the more balls you put in there, does it affect the pull? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  19. Huh. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. Huh. I thought it was supposed to be okay with the billet basket and FAST fibers. Ill do that too then. Might get a lockup cover though cuz i think they look pretty sick and my stock cover looks all beat to hell. Well see Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. So you pretty much need a lockup with a 421? The purpose of the slingshot vs the lockup cover is for a sleeper right? Theres no ridability differences btw the 2? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks dude. I was crossing my fingers. I messaged him like 10 minutes after he posted it but i think he sold it to someone else. Said its sold to Jim but my name is Tim so im REALLY hopin he meant tim lol. Probably not though Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  23. Jim or Tim Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
