  1. Pad #2 gps :32' 57.24 N / 115' 09.68 W I got it from http://www.off-road.com/dunes/gps/xy.html
  2. Put some gas in it Do a compression test.
  3. That's a good place to start when not considering alot of other factors. You'll be safe with that assumption
  4. Ding Ding. I am with everyone else. You call this guy up and he'll work with you. Don't like something, he'll fix it. Like it and he's happy. Can't beat that.
  5. Not to knock your plans, but you need to think about the future too. A 454ss is going to cost out the butt for insurance and gas. You can't save money or have extra money with a truck like that. Buy a small truck first. S10, Ranger, something like that if you need a truck. This will allow you to have money to spend and save and still have a truck to haul the toy around. It doesn't even have to fit the length of the bed. You can leave the tail gate open. As far as what to sell and do to get a truck... keep your favorite and sell the others. That way you only have one to put money into.
  6. An approximate guess is one jet size per 15 deg. Just a ball park of course.. but something to go by. If it ran fine at 60 and not at 20, I'd go two jet sizes bigger. Some other things to check. There should be a tube connecting the two carbs togehter. That is the choke tube. Make sure you put that back on. The bowls on the carbs are different. The left bowl should have a brass tube in it for the choke circuit to work properly. Make sure you put the bowls on the right carbs. If you took the slides out of the carbs, make sure they are in the correct carb. If you look at the slide there is an angled cut away at the bottom of it. That should be facing the airbox. Maybe you just forgot to put something in the right way.
  7. It's not a f***ing tractor
  8. The 795 series piston compensate the extra rod length if it has long rods. You can run a 4mm stroker with stock length rods and stock pistons.
  9. Oh, sorry. It sounded like they were two different people because the key wasn't the same. I'm diggin the music more know though for sure.
  10. Damn, the beginning of the songs sound good ... then ahh ahhhh ahhhhhh lahhh lahhhhhh... Like said above, mostly your singer now... and the background singers... uh.. ditto. I think you have some good instrumentalist.. but I can't really listen to them over the singer. Your music has improved since the last batch though..
  11. I'm not sure who that is but sounds like you have a nice machine. Maybe you can get a hold of scribbs and see what they did. Your receipts may reference a 4mm some or a part number for the crank. You can look at wiseco's web site and match the part number to the crank. I can't guess what your compression should be since it's modded.
  12. The head may look stock, but if it's a 4mm stroker it's been cut and domed. Check your compression for sure. It may be higher than you think and may require race fuel. Who did the porting for the stroker crank?
  13. lmmfao...lol
  14. Oh, and welcome to bhq. Sounds like you have a nice shee from the get go.
  15. I just went out and looked at mine. Did you try to tighten that piece. There are two allen heads holding that in place. Maybe it's just come loose. Otherwise I'd think just an oring or gasket, which ever is in there would fix it. Not a biggy.
  16. Not all 4mm strokers use long rods. Some builders like how the stock length rods rev out compared to the long rods. Long rods are suppose to be a little bit more reliable but aren't necessary until a 7mm stroke increase over stock.
  17. Pull the head and see if the pistons go 2mm above the surface of the clylinders

  19. LOL, I do about once a week. I know matt. I've ridden with him a few times.
  20. If you want bling you can get 20 inch tires and 10" rims instead of the 9" rims too. The look more low profile then with the 9" rim.
  21. With 22 inch tires. Wow. Well, try the 18" and see what you think. What are you running for motor mods.
  22. It's not the same noise, it's just another possibility. They started making resitor plugs and wires in 1948 when the old tnt site were going off for no reason. They were radio controlled.
  23. Nahh, your just dipping it in there. Not super soapy water either. I think it was 1 tablespoon per litre when I use to tint windows. It doesn't take a whole lot.
  24. All you have to do is change your gearing to compensate for the speed. A new front sprocket will make that up. Bad thing about 18's is ground clearance. That's about it. Good thing about 18's is weight. Your suspension should work a little better with the 18's too. It's about one tooth per tire size so if you want to keep close to the same gearing that you have now, go up to teeth bigger in the front. If you have a 13 tooth in the front go 15 with the 18 inch tires.
  25. If you think you will ever want to try race gas, get a 4 mill, play with compressions, want better cooling, want to be able to pull the head (maybe to check out your cylinders) without buying new gaskets, want some bling and maybe a little different power or more power get a noss head. If you just want some more compression you can get it mill .030". If you want a different dome shape or enough compression to run race fuel, you'll have to pay for the domes to be cut too. And, if your motor goes you'll be buying a new head and paying for that work again. A set of domes is $60. I wish I bought an aftermarket head a long time ago. Would have saved me a ton of money now.
