  1. Ok thanks. No head work. No porting. Will the advanced timing make my motor revv faster?
  2. I've heard that getting a Advanced Timing Plate and setting it +4 Degrees will improve your low and mid RPM acceleration and I wanted to see if it is a good idea for my set up and see if there is anything else needed to be done after installing it. I have Wiseco forged 64.75mm pistons, Wiseco forged rods, crank, entire bottom end, and I run 93 octane gas with Golden Spectro 32:1 Also does this effect jetting at all?
  3. I just think it would be cheaper to get a brand new shock instead of paying high money to get it rebuilt.
  4. Yeah I was kinda sketchy about that. So I would have to go with a stock carb base model shock?
  5. My rear shock is running like crap and needs to be rebuilt. It sits too low and when I sit the rear end is very low to the ground. I want to know can a YFZ450R rear shock replace it with no problems? I found one for a good price and wanted to know if it will work. Only thing is that its off a YFZ450R which is a long travel suspension set up and the rear shocks are longer than the carbonated base YFZ450. Also I am 6'3" and weight 250 lbs and wanted to know if it'll support my weight more?
  6. Damn man, hope you're ok. You got it pretty bad
  7. Finally ordered the bulbs today along with my mix oil and will be at my house Wednesday so I will show comparisons for people looking into buying these bulbs.
  8. I don't want to throw a battery and a new socket in or anything.
  9. Ok I will add that to my Rocky Mountain shopping cart lol $10 a piece
  10. Ok that's just what I want thanks
  11. Ok. I might just stick with the stock bulbs for now.
  12. Really? Hmmm I really don't want to install a capacitor or battery or anything
  13. I still have the stock bulbs and at night time they just show two little lines. High beams doesn't help that much. How well can you see with those bulbs Burnside? Can you see an improvement from stock bulbs?
  14. Looking to replace the stock H6M bulbs to something a bit brighter. I saw these Tusk bulbs "Super White 35/35W = 60/60W" and was wondering if I could use them without any modifications like a capacitor, battery, or DC conversion? If none of these are needed and someone has these installed can you send pictures? My bike has the stock stator and sockets. Thanks
  15. I only ran Yamalube at that for a quick run with new plugs but I'm sure dumbass that had it last ran 24:1
  16. 2003 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi V-8
  17. I'm looking into Super Techniplate Klotz at 40:1, thanks guys!
  18. I run Yamalube 32:1 and I am looking to switch. Seems like it doesn't burn and it fouls out my plugs easily. My dad used to run Golden Spectro 32:1 and he said he ran his plugs without changing them for 4 years with no fouls. He had a stock 1993 Banshee. What do you guys think?
  19. WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH?!?!
  20. Thanks but I found out a few things from the previous owner today. He said he has Powercore 2 silencers and that ran with 260's no problem but he put the stock silencers back on due to DNR sound limitations and the stock silencer and Fatty pipe set up runs 180's. I put the airbox back on too because I figured it will have better protection that way so I'm going to see about getting a K&N filter element to use instead of this filthy UNI filter.
  21. I was rejetting my Shee today and I need some help. I have FMF Pipes with stock silencers, Boyesen Power Reeds, 4" pod filters, and is bored .30 over. I got a Shindy rebuild kit today that comes with 200 mains and 25 pilots (used everything but jets) and I put in 270 mains and 27.5 pilots I had sitting around and it bogged in about 1/3 throttle to about 1/2 or 3/4 throttle but top end was excellent and both plugs were milk chocolate on half of the inside of both plugs and the other side of the white was a medium black. I need help as to what my jetting should be and what needle position I need. Needle position in that jetting was the 2nd position.
  22. The order somehow got canceled so I went to a place near me and got 2 Shindy rebuild kits with 200 jets. I put a new needle on and I ran my 270 that I had before on the 2nd needle position and it still ran rich enough to where oil was leaking in all the exhaust joints except for the exhaust port on the cylinder into the headers. Any more suggestions? Next main size down is 200 so I'm thinking about running that with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th position.
  23. Ok I just ordered a rebuild kit with 300's in them, I got 27.5 pilots already
  24. Forgot to say elevation is at 600ft above sea level and I'm running stock needle and NO PORTING JOB
  25. Going to the dunes in a couple of weeks and I still need help with jetting. I got FMF Fatty pipes, stock silencers, Boyesen Power Reeds on stock cages, Bored .30 over, and 4" pod filters on stock carbs (no airbox).
