keep in mind with dual carbs, only one carb is working at a time. The single carb will make the carb work "steady", and thats why trinity refers to it as a "constant velocity" I wanted to make my own also at one time (out of stainless!!!). i was going to copy the trinity one, and had the engineering department cut all the stuff out for it. I soon lost interest (racing season started) and never finished it. I dont work there anymore, so BOOOOO for me! lol I hope it works, keep us posted for sure!

it takes some nuts..... Usually in 2nd or 3rd gear, right into the bottom of the power band, pop her up and get it to balance far far back. the balance point on a banshee is when you have the grab bar (if its still stock) about 3-5 inches from the ground. so yeah, its freeky. I can do one for a few hundred feet without shifting, but she is WAY reved out by then. If you wait till the front is on its way down do to over revving, just jam it into the next gear, and it will come back up. Most people are intimidated by the balance point being so far back, and thats what makes it hard to "master". I have a bent frame and some scares from "mastering" it myself....LOL If your REALLY good with the clutch, you can wheely it like a four stroke, but just not as long.....

The biggest thing is 90% of people think that since you pay $5 a pint for premix, its the best stuff. Then they mix it 50-1 and bitch that they wear out rings in two years...... If all else fails, use yamalube.....there is alot of GOOD oils out there that are cheeper, but it takes some research to find them. I actually use "injects"....I have for many years, and mix 32-1. Its about $2 a quart and burns pretty damn clean. My 97 never has had rings, and it still dont need them....and yes Ive checked the compression reciently. My biggest thing of advice has ALWAYS been. Dont rely on some fancy ass oil at 50-1, because one day your gonna be out riding and need oil and cant find "your brand"....now you have to run some crazy oil and mix it 32-1......now your lean......good job!

I really dislike Fords, and buttstains alot, BUT I saw one go by th other day and from the front it DOES look like an older stang. Good job by the ford guys.....modern cars have been quit boring, and a GOOD retro look like that is very welcome by me. The half assed job by chrysler with the PT cruiser was a joke, and the SSR leaves a little to be desired.

The state championships will be held once again at "fortune Bay Resort and Casino" in Tower Minnesota in January Im helping the promoter again this year, and its going to be a GREAT show, a fun time, and one hell of a party afterwards. I would like to see more banshee's show up this year. Last year there was only two, and both did very poorly. One was his first time ever racing on ice, and the other went out with mechanical problems. I didnt get to race, was too busy with other stuff. (maybe this year!) Its pretty far off, but keep checking HERE for updates. I will be happy to answer all the questions I can. For the really hard ones, I'll have to ask "the boss" and get back to you about it. There was a report released about this a year or so ago. All of the people who voted for closing Yellowstone to snowmobiles were asked how many times they had RIDDEN a snowmobile......All that voted to close had never been on one before, except one. All of the votes for keeping it open, were cast by people who had ridden them before. closing PUBLIC land starts small....gets bigger, then gets out of hand. I was told once that ATV's and snowmobiles are NOT welcome in the woods by "tree huggers" becasue when they go for a hike, they dont wanna listen to US making noise. That just pisses me off, because I live here, in the woods, and Im gonna enjoy it how I want. These Liberal tree huggers live in large cities, and have NO clue what its like living in "hickville" So the next time them dumb fuckers go and try and close down MY PLAYGROUND because they need a spot to relax from the loud and busy life in the city, I hope there is a good politician that can stand up for what is the FREEDOM to do what we are supposed to be able to do. It makes a guy really feel helpless and cornered. If they take away my sled and my ATV, I might just go postal........... I sure as hell am NOT taking up hiking...... My dad ride horses for "fun"....Him and I get into it ALL the time about this. He thinks that ATVs are rediculous and I should buy a "pony"...HELL NO!!! Ive been riding dirt bikes and ATV's since I was a kid and I have been in the hospital becasue of them twice in my entire life (stitches). Between my dad and his wife, they have spent over a month combined in the hospital, for a total of 6 times now in just 10 years. Once my dad almost died because his rib got broke and went through his lung. Ever ridden down a horse trail? Their exhaust stinks WAY worse then any premix I have ever used......... Minnesota is one of the largest snowmobile states. During the winter months snowmobiles consume 1% of the gasoline burnt in the state. There is a HUGE number of sleds registered in this state. 1% of ALL the gas burnt....them tree huggers burn more fuel in their Suburbans and Expeditions on the way to capitol to get us shut down then I do in one day of riding my sled, for HOURS!....MORONS!!! Although I dont belong to any sort of ATV or snowmobile club, I should. Every one should belong to one, and a good one that will stand up and be heard. I want to join one, but the clubs around here for ATV's are mostly old people who dont understand the "sport" rider mentality.

Im in northern Mn and I have a 180 main and a 42 pilot ,jet clip in the middle (3rd).....Im not 100% sure on the pilot, because I havent had the carb off on 3 years....(havent had a reason to) It runs a little rich when its around 70-80 degrees outside, but thats when Im racing anyway, so I dont get on her much then....

#1..REPLACE THE AIR FILTER!!!!!!!! (lol, the stocker set up is JUNK) #2. Pipes (ANYTHING is better then stock, everyone has their favorite) #3 tires...(do some research on what would work best for your riding...) the rest is pretty trivial....once you get these done, youll know what to do next. I did the top three, then did trinity single carb, temp gauge and then cosmetic stuff.
