  1. If they metered good then that's probably not it. If the ground is good and stator is good and pick up gap is ok. Then make sure flywheel isn't shot. Pull the flywheel and make sure key isn't sheared. That will make random spark and then shake the flywheel and see how bad it rattles
  2. Mine just did this weak random spark shit and it was the plug wire and caps. Changed them and bam we were back in action
  3. Anybody know what size bolts are supposed to be in chain adjuster? I have 2 different length bolts
  4. In the tech section there is a thread on how to build a leak down tester
  5. Why would he run stock exhaust on something like a dm ????
  6. Wes if you ever picked up selling cz parts you would easily get double that amount of money from me lol
  7. That's why I buy all my banshee parts here. Banshee hq gets a good portion of my paycheck every two weeks. Thanks Wes I'm gonna need to file bankruptcy if you keep selling me stuff!
  8. Why does a lot of people run negative swingers?
  9. Text me on the cylinders. 7314313378
  10. I have a 800 ranger we ride 3 and 4 often. Usually four if it's kids. It fits easily on my ten foot trailer
  11. Se. Stator was not my problem thanks though
  12. I ride my 800 ranger and love it for trail riding and hunting.
  13. I agree the hit from the powerband is like a drug
  14. I had that happen on a dirt bike once smoked it too. I will know soon enough I am almost done with the leak down tester. For some reason no one around here carries metal tubeless valve stems. Have to order some I guess
  15. I'm fixing to redo my top end on a bone stock bike and someone else will probably chime in but I will probably go ahead and true and weld my crank for peace of mind. From what I hear don't know from experience is the tranny mods are great and are a must if you plan on building more power into it
  16. Right right I agree 110%. It's -8 outside right now it's supposed to be 56 Saturday so I will check it all out then and follow up
  17. In general. The leaking intake boots shouldn't have anything to do with compression right? That would show evidence of a failed leak down test right
  18. I'm thinking bout pulling the exhaust on that side and taking a peak with a flash light to see if I can see any cylinder scarring and etc. will check the intake boots but one question. If you hold the throttle wide open how would the intake boot cause an issue
  19. I'm not sure I'm only about an hour from there. I think it's all been taken over by the forestry service. I'm gonna check into that
  20. Didn't wanna throw a top end on it not knowing then have it grenade on me two weeks later.
  21. Where are all of these places in Ky
  22. I'm in cincy quite a bit. If y'all organize a ride up there this year let me know. I work in Erlanger ky. Ten mins from cincy
  23. For the most part. I think bbks are fine on Cubs and bigger motors not a fan of them on bone stock bikes. Once again jmo. I brought the big bore kit thing because they stated they could put a bbk in it if I wanted them to. Told them my cylinders were not in bad enough shape to need a bbk and they were trying to sell it as a power adder.
  24. JMO for a stock stroke (bone stock) with no bolt ons i think a BBK is a waste of money. If your going big like the cub, i get it.
